Police are asking for help to trace a Perthshire mother and daughter who have not been seen since Friday.

Emma Malloy and her daughter Leah (6) were last seen in Crieff and were reported as missing on Monday.

Emma is described as 5ft 2in, of medium build with shoulder-length dark hair. She is believed to be wearing a red coat.

Leah is described as 4ft with light brown hair. It is not known what clothes she would be wearing.

A police spokesman said: “Emma’s disappearance is out of character and there is therefore concern for Emma and Leah’s welfare.

“Emma does have connections to the Leeds and Hull areas in England and possibly in the Edinburgh and Lothians areas as well.”

Anyone with information that could help officers trace Emma and Leah is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
